House approves more funding for lawmaker protection

On Tuesday, the House exceeded a measure that grants lawmakers an extra $25,000 to pay for security wishes inside the wake of the taking pictures at the GOP baseball exercise this month.

Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) briefed House Republicans on Friday about the likely expansion of lawmakers’ annual workplace budgets to assist in paying for safety costs.
